Mercury in Pisces: Finding words for an image, impression or unspoken feeling

What it means
An idea may first arrive as an image, an association or an overall impression. You might understand the direction of an explanation before finding the exact words for it. A story or comparison can help communicate a connection that feels awkward when reduced to a short definition.
In learning, examples may lead you toward the structure of a subject. You might recognise a similar pattern in another setting or use imagination to make an unfamiliar idea easier to approach. The connection can be useful even when it needs further checking before it becomes a precise account.
Communication may also include attention to how words feel to the listener. You might adapt an example, soften a phrase or describe the atmosphere around an experience. Another person may understand the feeling while remaining unsure about the practical conclusion you want them to take from it.
Moving from an impression to a sequence can require another stage of work. You may know what a result should convey without having settled each step needed to produce it. An exchange can become confusing when a shared sense of possibility is taken as agreement about details that have not yet been discussed.
