What it means
A planet in its debilitation sign is weak. Neecha Bhanga means cancellation of that fall. The classical texts list several ways it can happen. The most quoted is simple: the lord of the debilitation sign, called the dispositor, stands in a kendra from the Lagna or from the Moon.
When it holds, the weak planet is read as turning into a strength that comes with effort. People with it are described as late bloomers. The weakness is real, but it pushes them to build something that does not break.
This is the heaviest rule in the set. It tests seven planets, each with two routes to cancellation, so the tree behind it has more than thirty nodes. About 3 charts in 10 pass. Open the rule to see the tree.
Only one of the classical cancellation rules is coded here. A pass is a good sign. A fail does not rule out cancellation by the others.
