Kahala Yoga

Classical definition: The lord of Bandhu Bhava and Guru are in mutual Kendras while the Lagna lord is strong. Alternatively, the lord of Bandhu Bhava is in his own or exaltation rashi and yuti with the lord of Karma Bhava. In modern terms: Either pattern is enough. Pattern one: the planet that rules the 4th house and Jupiter are in the 4th, 7th or 10th house from each other, and the planet that rules the 1st house is strong. Pattern two: the planet that rules the 4th house is in its own sign or its sign of exaltation, in the same sign as the planet that rules the 10th house. A planet is strong when its Shadbala ratio is above 1 (its strength is more than the minimum it needs) and it is not debilitated.
