Mars in the 5th house: Creative drive and impatience for a return

A creative idea or personal project may draw a strong response from you. You might spend time developing a design, preparing a performance or working on something that shows a talent you want to express. This placement is associated with creativity, but also with pride and high expectations about what you produce.

Your expectations of a piece of work may be high. You might have a firm idea of how a design or performance should turn out. Pride in your own talent can sit alongside restlessness and rigidity. A project can involve strong opinions about what should be done, as well as creative effort.

A project with a possible financial return can bring impatience into view too. You may become irritated when a hoped-for profit does not appear. For example, a small venture may receive a great deal of attention while you wait to see what it earns. An uncertain result can be difficult to leave alone.
