Mars in Leo: Wanting authority and persisting with the effort to lead

A position with authority may be a strong attraction. You might want to direct an activity, make the decisions for a project or take a leading part in how work is organised. The interest can concern having control over the course of the effort.

Once an aim is chosen, you may pursue it with considerable energy. A difficult stage might bring continued effort, another attempt or a determination to keep going. The response can be forceful and persistent rather than readily giving up the undertaking.

That approach can also become dominating. You might keep pressing your own direction, insist on leading the activity or leave little room in the plan for another approach. A discussion about the method may remain a discussion about whose direction is followed.
