What it means
A task may receive careful, precise effort. You might work through an unfinished item, refine the way you perform a step or devote time to learning a skill. Attention can go into how the work is done as well as the result you are aiming for.
Practice may become a continuing interest. You might return to a method, work on a technique or look for information that helps you understand the skill more closely. A clear area for improvement can give the effort a definite subject.
Concern for someone close may be expressed through time and work. You might help with a practical task, take care of something they need or offer your energy while keeping your own emotions more reserved. The useful action can be more visible than an open statement of affection.
