Raja Yoga: Jupiter in Its Own Sign in the 9th House with Venus or the 5th Lord

Classical definition: Guru is in his own rashi, which is Dharma Bhava, yuti with Shukra or the lord of Putra Bhava. In modern terms: Jupiter is in the 9th house, and that house is Sagittarius or Pisces (the signs Jupiter rules). Jupiter shares its sign with Venus or with the planet that rules the 5th house. Houses are counted from the rising sign (Lagna): the 1st house is the rising sign itself. Source: Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Chapter 39, verse 39 (verse numbers follow the R. Santhanam translation).
