Raja Yoga: 5th Lord in the 1st, 4th or 10th with the 9th Lord or Lagna Lord

Classical definition: The lord of Putra Bhava is in Lagna, Bandhu or Karma Bhava, yuti with the lord of Dharma Bhava or the lord of Lagna. In modern terms: The planet that rules the 5th house is in the 1st, 4th or 10th house, in the same sign as the planet that rules the 9th house or the planet that rules the 1st house. Houses are counted from the rising sign (Lagna): the 1st house is the rising sign itself. Source: Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Chapter 39, verse 38 (verse numbers follow the R. Santhanam translation).
