Matsya Yoga

Classical definition: Benefics in Dharma Bhava and Tanu (Lagna), mixed grahas in Putra Bhava, and malefics in Bandhu and Randhra Bhava. In modern terms: There is a benefic in the 1st house and a benefic in the 9th house. The 5th house holds at least one benefic and at least one malefic (the text says "mixed"). The 4th house and the 8th house each hold at least one malefic. Benefics are Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and the waxing Moon. Malefics are the Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu.
