Mercury in Leo: Giving an idea a clear voice and a frame you can stand behind

What it means
You may want an idea to have a clear shape before you present it. A strong example, a memorable explanation or a definite point of view can make a subject feel worth sharing. You might prefer to develop an account you can stand behind rather than offer a series of disconnected observations.
Presenting can become part of how you organise your thinking. Preparing a talk, explaining a finding or putting a proposal into your own words may help you decide what matters most. You may give considerable attention to the overall message, not only to the separate facts it contains.
A challenge to the explanation can feel more personal when you have taken ownership of it. You might defend the frame because it has helped you make sense of the subject. Another person may be introducing a different question rather than dismissing the effort you have put into the answer.
Commitment to one frame can also narrow the possibilities you examine. You may continue refining an account within familiar boundaries while overlooking information that would change the starting point. An explanation can become more polished without becoming broader, particularly when the audience responds well to the version you already know.
