Susubha Yoga

Classical definition: If benefics, unaspected by malefics, occupy the 2nd house from the Lagna, the Yoga is termed Susubha. Its effects are those of Sunapha Yoga. In modern terms: At least one benefic is in the 2nd house, and no malefic aspects the 2nd house. Benefics are Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and the waxing Moon. Malefics are the Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. A planet aspects a house when its sight reaches it: every planet looks at the 7th house from itself, and Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu also have special aspects.
